MFRD Responds to Two Car MVA at Brinkley Road and Highway 96

Murfreesboro, TN—Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s Districts 5 and 9 and Rescue 2 responded to a two car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Brinkley Road and Highway 96 around 8:00 Saturday morning. 

Crews had to extricate two victims from an overturned pickup truck.

The two victims, an elderly male and young child, were transported via ambulance to Saint Thomas Rutherford hospital. According to Captain/Shift Inspector Mark McCluskey, they are expected to make a full recovery. 

Murfreesboro Police Department was in charge of the accident investigation.
